Which class when I’m pregnant?

Regular Yoga or Prenatal Yoga Classes?

  • Tuesday evening 6.30-7.30pm Prenatal Yoga
  • Sunday evening 7-8pm End of Week Meditation Class (if you can’t make a pregnancy class you may attend a meditation class in it’s place. Pregnancy classes are interchangeable with meditation classes only.)

Pregnant woman relax doing yoga, sitting in lotus position overOur regular yoga classes are not suitable for pregnancy* & we recommend you attend the prenatal class throughout this short but important phase of your life.  Our prenatal class helps to prepare for birth in many ways, including movement, breathing techniques & pelvic floor work – it’s a great time to be curious & explore these new areas in a pregnancy yoga class. In prenatal yoga you can be sure that every movement is safe for you & your baby.

*If attending a regular class when pregnant without checking first, your entrance will depend upon the teacher’s qualifications/insurance & the studio’s discretion & you may be turned away. 


Please check with your doctor &/or midwife that you are able to start a prenatal yoga class. You can start prenatal yoga from 14+ weeks & keep coming until birth-date, please call or email to discuss if you have any queries. studio@looseyoga.co.uk

You don’t need to be fit already & no matter how you feel about yourself this class will be safe & useful to you. Similarly, if you are very fit already, we can modify things so that you get a good SAFE practice too.

Pregnant mums & postnatal mums are encouraged to attend our meditation classes, however Yin Yoga is not suitable for pregnancy.

You are also welcome at our Gong baths, where you & baby can be bathed in vibrational sound; these are under ‘Enrollments’ in your login account.
